Leonardo DiCaprio is getting some new company in his upcoming Body of Lies. According to Variety, Russell Crowe has joined the cast of the Ridley Scott drama.

The film is based on David Ignatius' novel of the same name. The story revolves around a CIA boss, played by Crowe, who teams up with an operative played by DiCaprio. Together, they must bring down an evil Al Qaeda leader before he can wreck any more havoc on the US. They do this by spreading the ugly rumor that he is in bed with the Americans.

The cast and crew are awaiting a script polish by writer Steve Zaillian before they move ahead on the project.
