Russell Crowe Becomes Jor-El on the Man of Steel Set

The Warner Bros. superhero remake Man of Steel is currently shooting in Vancouver, working towards a June 14, 2013 release date. Today we have the first look at Russell Crowe on set, in full costume as Jor-El, the biological father of Henry Cavill's Kal-El (a.k.a. Clark Kent). Man of Steel comes to theaters June 14th, 2013 and stars Henry Cavill, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe, Julia Ormond. The film is directed by Zack Snyder.

    Worked 'on set' of Comanche Moon where the historicaly true, violence portrayal sequences (best action parts) were all discarded as non-PC. Val Kilmer is also a victim of the food caterer on various films. Poor Russel. BTW We do eat well. :>)

    Looks Good, I like the suit. This movie is going to kick so much ass.

    The only problem is that we most likely wont even see a trailer for several months.....after all, the film wont be seen until mid 2013!! That's a ways away.

    2013 is adding up to be almost as good a year as 2012......with Man of Steel, The Hobbit: There and Back Again and Star Trek, just to name a few.

    At least we have stuff to look forward to.

    There is an ODIN/THOR feel to the suit....why does he have a cape?...if he is on Kpyton why would he have a cape...Jor-el is a scientist? ..this suit looks like something that a warrior would wear?I guess ill just have to wait for the movie
