Russell Brand and Luis Guzman Are Batman and Robin on the Arthur Set

A few weeks ago, we reported that an older version of the Batmobile which was used in Batman & Robin, was spotted on the set of the upcoming comedy remake, Arthur. While we weren't sure at the time why this vehicle was on the set, now Zimbio and Starcasm have posted new images from the Arthur set that feature star Russell Brand and Luis Guzmán in full costume as Batman and Robin. Arthur was released April 8th, 2011 and stars Russell Brand, Helen Mirren, Greta Gerwig, Jennifer Garner, Geraldine James, Luis Guzmán, Nick Nolte, Christina Calph. The film is directed by Jason Winer.

    i feel like a nerd posting this as it doesn't matter since both the joel shucmacher batman movies blew ass, but the batmobile in those picture are actually from batman forever, not batman & robin as credited in this article. in batman & robin it was an open driving area, so you could see george clooney all the time while he was driving in that thing. here is pic. http://www.entertainmentse.com/Image/2009102516181154677807.jpg anyways, there's my two cents.

    It's goofy, but I don't have a problem with them spoofing Batman. I do have a problem with Hollywood remaking one of the greatest comedies ever, though.

    @rarebloodtype, that's a pretty harsh statement about Luis Guzman. I liked him in Out of Sight and Waiting.
