Harry Potter star Rupert Grint has landed roles in Fredrik Bond's The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman and Randall Miller's CBGC.

In The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman, Shia LaBeouf stars as Charlie Countryman, who was just a normal guy... until he fell in love with the one girl who will probably get him killed. When Charlie meets the absolutely irresistible Gabi she's already been claimed by Nigel, an insanely violent crime boss with a gang of thugs at his disposal. Fredrik Bond is directing from a script by Matt Drake.

CBGC has Alan Rickman playing CBGC owner Hilly Kristal. The film follows the New York City club's impact on the underground music scene. The actor plays Cheetah Chrome of the Dead Boys, who played a prominent role during the club's rise.

The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman was released in 2012 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Evan Rachel Wood, Mads Mikkelsen, Melissa Leo, Til Schweiger. The film is directed by Fredrik Bond.

CBGB comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Alan Rickman, Rupert Grint, Malin Akerman, Ashley Greene, Kerry Bishé, Evan Alex Cole, Johnny Galecki, Taylor Hawkins. The film is directed by Randall Miller.
