Rosie Perez: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Actress Rosie Perez will make her directorial debut with a documentary film on New York's annual Puerto Rican Day parade for cable's Independent Film Channel.

Perez will serve as on-camera narrator of the film, produced by Moxie Firecracker, which is headed by Oscar- and Emmy-nominated documentary producers Liz Garbus and Rory Kennedy, and Perez's TenInACar Prods.

The untitled film is expected to premiere next year on IFC.
