In a story from Variety, it looks like Rosie Perez, Craig Ferguson and Arsenio Hall are joining Christina Ricci in the CG-animated feature The Hero of Color City.

The film, to be directed by Becky Bristow, centers on a bunch of "crayons fighting to save their multihued city."

Magnolia Pictures is planning to cover both the domestic theatrical release and the DVD release in 2010.
