Roger Donaldson will direct the indie thriller, Baker Street.

Starring Jason Statham, the screenplay by Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais is based on the true story of the now legendary 1971 Baker Street bank robbery. Production Weekly says this is a story which has remained untold for over 35 years due to a government gagging order, how one of the biggest robberies in British history took place with no arrests ever made, nor money ever recovered. It also tells the story of a vault full of secrets, the scandals that unfurled and the lives lost in the pursuit for the truth to stay 'hidden'.

Filming on Baker Street is scheduled to begin early next year in the United Kingdom.
