Roger Bart has signed on to star in the horror, Hostel 2 for Screen Gems and Lionsgate.

The film, written and directed by Eli Roth, continues the story of a group of backpackers lured to a remote Slovakian village, where businessmen pay to kill them for pleasure, reports Variety.

Bart has also been cast as a U.S. attorney in Universal's Ridley Scott-directed American Gangster, which stars Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington.

Hostel 2 is currently shooting in Prague.

Hostel: Part II was released June 8th, 2007 and stars Lauren German, Roger Bart, Heather Matarazzo, Bijou Phillips, Richard Burgi, Vera Jordanova, Jay Hernandez, Jordan Ladd. The film is directed by Eli Roth.

American Gangster was released November 2nd, 2007 and stars Denzel Washington, Russell Crowe, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Josh Brolin, Lymari Nadal, Ted Levine, Roger Guenveur Smith, John Hawkes. The film is directed by Ridley Scott.
