Original Story: Over the weekend, the first set photos from MGM's RoboCop caused a fanboy firestorm of controversy, revealing the new suit Joel Kinnaman's Alex Murphy will be wearing as the title character. Today, we have the first teaser poster, which offers a closer look at this all-black bio-mechanical device. The remake has already stirred up controversy with the highly-negative script review from last month. Will this poster put the fans at ease? Take a look and chime in with your thoughts!
RoboCop comes to theaters February 7th, 2014 and stars Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman, Samuel L. Jackson, Abbie Cornish, Jackie Earle Haley, Michael Keaton, Jay Baruchel, Michael K. Williams. The film is directed by José Padilha.

How can you people judge the suit from a crappy paparazzi shot completely out of context? The Spider-man suit looked like sh*t in those types of pictures but it looked great in the movie and all the official promo stuff. I'm not judging till I see officially released pictures.

@bawnian-dexeus That is the part of the suit that released Robocop's gun... according to the details from the script, his gun is now in his arm and no longer in that awesome compartment in his leg

The suit looks weird, but cool, it has a Dark Knight (body), Dredd (helmet) feel to it, but it could be a futuristic detroit cop suit, who knows, still looking forward to it!
