RoboCop Set Video with the S.W.A.T. Cycle in Action!
Earlier in the week, we showed you a handful of set photos from José Padilha's RoboCop remake, which offered a look at Joel Kinnaman in his S.W.A.T. armor atop a shiny black motorcycle. We now have video of the S.W.A.T. Cycle in action! And while we never saw the original Robocop (with his lower case c) screaming around the streets of Detroit on any type of futuristic two-wheeled vehicle, the original Kenner toy line did provide Murphy with a cycle similar to the one we see here. This video is kind of cool and unique, in that we actually can hear director José Padilha giving direction to Joel Kinnaman. Though, it still baffles me why they are shooting this in Toronto and not Detroit. That's just pure blasphemy, especially with the tax incentives Detroit offers. Though, the whole thing looks like blasphemy at this point. Who knows, maybe it will be cool. But there's no way it will ever be better than the original. You need just look at this video to know that as fact.
RoboCop comes to theaters February 7th, 2014 and stars Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman, Samuel L. Jackson, Abbie Cornish, Jackie Earle Haley, Michael Keaton, Jay Baruchel, Michael K. Williams. The film is directed by José Padilha.

How in the world, did the let someone stand that close, and just video them in making the movie? You all know as much as I do, that they had to know it would a be a leaked clip. So maybe they want information on the movie out there to try to boost its chance. But if it doesn't look good, no one will watch it. Period.
