Robin Wright to join David Fincher's adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Wright is in talks to play Erika Berger, the publisher of crusading finance magazine Millennium, and the occasional lover of journalist Mikael Blomkvist (to be played by Daniel Craig). Yet to be cast is the computer hacker heroine Lisbeth Salander.
Earlier today we reported that Fincher was looking to cast Stellan Skarsgård as the villain in the film.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was released December 21st, 2011 and stars Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, Robin Wright, Stellan Skarsgård, Christopher Plummer, Joely Richardson, Yorick van Wageningen, Steven Berkoff. The film is directed by David Fincher.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - . The film was released in the United States on March 19, 2010 by Music Box Films, which will also release the second and third films in the trilogy, The Girl Who Played with Fire and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest, later in 2010.

i don't like them REMAKING a film which was pretty good to begin with...BUT with fincher at the helm, this should be pretty decent.
if this was made in the 90s FARUZA BALK or CHRISTINA RICCI would have been perfect for the role of Lisbeth...any suggestions? Please don't say JUNO girl or DAKOTA FANNING!

Love it! I have confidence in whatever Fincher does. He does things and chooses things carefully, he's not sloppy at all with the work he does. And that's what I admire most about the films he does.
