Robin Hood Slated for May 2010

It seems the new Ridley Scott film will get a tentpole release. Universal Pictures has announced a May 14, 2010 release date for Robin Hood.

As it stands right now, next May has a blockbuster film for each weekend secured already. Iron Man 2 will bow on May 7, Robin Hood on May 14, Shrek Goes Forth on May 21 and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time on May 28.

Robin Hood will star Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett and will be directed by Ridley Scott.

Robin Hood was released May 14th, 2010 and stars Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, Max von Sydow, William Hurt, Mark Strong, Oscar Isaac, Danny Huston, Eileen Atkins. The film is directed by Ridley Scott.

    Just watched Body of Lies. Don't get me wrong, I like movies that are just mindless entertainment, but I had higher hopes for this one. Russel Crowe and Ridley Scott are on probation with me for now. :)

    Good month. I don't think they will keep this date though, it's too crowded. They should do it on a day that they will have people going because nothing else is playing, not try to compete with Iron Man 2 and Shrek and be completely destroyed lol.
