I agree with Josh. I highly doubt the story will be the problem with The Avengers script, if there is a problem that is.

Right, because Joss Whedon is known for writing stories that "suck".

I think this movie will suck. The big part of sucking will be the story .

Probably be a stunt man in the suit, with him voicing. I'm glad Zemo is showing up.

@bane, wow, big-time props for pulling this one out of the past. As for the cast, some interesting choices--Stallone as Wolverine? Ventura as Sabertooth? Weird. Also weird: Schwarzenegger as a Russian. I think Ryder was a little too old to play the teenaged Jubilee, and I'm not that big a fan of Costner, but the rest of the cast fits(although Bam-Bam's head tattoo would have had to have been covered up). However, I think there are too many villains for one film. Magneto in one, Apocalypse in the second, and Omega Red in the third( or second. Switching him with Apocalypse would probably serve the trilogy better). Of course, this is all just for fun, but it would have been interesting if it actually occurred.

HERES SOMETHING FUN FOR EVERYONE ON HERE:
When i was a kid and mad crazy bout my comic collection, i used to buy wizard magazine every month, one time, i think around '94, they had a cast listing of who they thought should play roles in the X-Men live action movie, if memory serves me right, ill list who i can still remember who they wanted to cast...and remember this was in the '90s...
Prof. X-- Patrick Stuart [ even back then he was always considered }
Magneto-- Sean Connery
Cyclops--Kevin Costner
Jean Grey-- Angie Everhart
Wolverine-- Sylvester Stallone
Gambit--Patrick Swayze
Beast-- Kelsey Grammer [ yup again back then too }
Jubilee-- Wynona Ryder
Rogue--Geena Davis
Storm--Vanessa Williams
Colosuss--Arnold Schwarzenegger
Pylocke--Tia Carerra
Cable--Clint Eastwood
Apocalypse--James Earl Jones
Blob--Bam Bam Bigalow
Sabretooth--Jesse The Body Ventura
Omega Red---Dolph Lundgren
...thats as much as i can remember and no joke, this was in a wizard magazine back in the '90s, but imagine if this movie was made and this was the cast of the first X-Men movie...what do u guys think...?

OK Thanks, guys. I'm going to start watching it. Sounds like good characters, story, and animation. I have a bootleg of that 1999 series United They Stand from the Marvel AU, and boy was that crap!!

Also, I like the idea that Zemo will be in The Avengers, but I hope there is more to it. I mean, HYDRA doesn't really sell me on this movie, at least not by itself. I expect Loki to make an appearance, perhaps as an advisor to Zemo, in locating Dr. Bruce Banner or an item of great power.

I've seen the show, CBF. My take is that it is coming along slowly but steadily. I think it will get better as it goes along.

@Pjwolsker...not a bad idea...
Start it with Fury walking down a hallway with Coulson discussing if the sitauation was handled well in New Mexico { Thor }, as theyre talking they walk into a room where technichians are working on getting Cap out of the ice block. They unfreeze him, hes a bit confused and startled, Fury introduces himself and welcomes him back , but says theyres alot to be explained. As theyre sitting in a guarded room talking, Fury tells cap its a whole different world now and whats the last thing Cap remembers...then start the film from there...
Or something to that nature :]

@CBF...I've seen a few episodes so far, the last one i saw was when they unfroze Cap and he joins the Avengers, Zemo as well as Arnim Zola were in that episode surviving after all this time to hear that Cap has returned
I wonder is thats how theyll play it off in the film, cuz in the cartoon the Avengers are already established with Ironaman as its leader before they unfeeeze Cap, lets see how they do it in the film

im curious to know if cap will get unfrozen in captain america or the avengers. i can see the captain movie they unfreeze him and fury talks to him asking about what happened to him and then the movie is in flashback and then at the end fury tells him about the avengers and he brings him into a room with iron man thor and hulk then it ends. i think thatd be cool

HYDRA will come back, I assume, when Cap gets unfrozen in The Avengers. Zemo'll prob be running HYDRA in the modern times, taking over for Red Skull from the 1940's. Awesome.
Also...speaking of the new animated series, Earth's Mightiest Heroes, anyone seen that yet?
