This movie will rock. And there's no way they can make a remake of Roger Rabbit! It's going to be a sequel, I just know it! This is gonna be awesome.

Err
i would watch a sequel, i guess, but the first one had christopher lloyd and bob hoskins, you're not going to be able to beat that.

It won't be a reboot, but I'm interested in a sequel. The first one is really good, and this one could look amazing.

ok they tried this with Looney Tunes and it sucks. This film is a classic doesent need a remake, the only way i will see this is if the timeline adds up and bob hoskins and Roger the real roger not some guy filling int he voice come on back with a good story. If not leave it alone, i mean COME ON hollywood, cashing checks and watching your stock rise kill your creativity. THINK OF SOMETHING

Ok one i love Roger Rabbit its one of my favourite childhood film.
2 no remake, if this goes through sequel, plz, Zemekis, don't be dumb and try to remake one of your own classics like Wes Craven seems to be doing.
Only do this if there is a good plot....and if it happens, i'll be interested to see this in 3.D

sounds awesome! curious, i guess, more than awesome. technically, could be sweet. is there enough story to bring this back though? they have a girl to play jessica - jessica beil from SNL! lol that was great - hysterical! matter of fact, they could put andy samberg in as cathy, too. lol classic.

oh common, please, i've heard news of all these other remakes, reboots, prequels and sequels, but not one of them has made me at all mad. mostly i've thought "sure i don't see y not, i wouldn't mind seeing this movie get a lil bit of a modern touch or wut not" but please, please just leave Roger Rabbit alone. Who Framed Roger Rabbit is one of my all time favorite movies, a cherished childhood memory that is perfect as it is, y make a sequel?
just leave it alone, please Zemeckis, just walk way.

I doubt this will be a remake. I also think Zemeckis will strongly want Hoskins back. And above all, I really hope that the setting doesn't change to much. Maybe ten, or fifteen years after the original, but I just pray that it is not too modern.
Zemeckis probably knows not to remake this, being the classic that it is, and just go for a nice reviving sequel, through in a wacky unique villian, and keep all the original main characters.

I'm for it, but I would prefer the sequel over a remake. I agree with you Lone Wolf, it is a true classic. But I think that it could be cool, adding more to this rich, funny characters. Plus, another noir crime story set in that universe would be great.

i just learned it was the first (and only) movie to feature mickey mouse and bugs bunny.

I wouldn't go for it. I wouldn't risk ruining a true classic. It might have been a good idea if they did 18 years ago.
