Heat Vision is reporting that Robert Zemeckis has rounded up Cary Elwes, Dean Lennox Kelly, Peter Serafinowicz and Adam Campbell to play The Beatles in his remake of Yellow Submarine.

In the Walt Disney Pictures's 3D performance capture film, Kelly is portraying John Lennon, Serafinowicz plays Paul McCartney, Elwes is George Harrison, and Campbell will be Ringo Starr.

The original 1968 animated movie was based on the music by the Beatles and featured a storyline wherein a soldier called Old Fred meets up with the Beatles and travels in a yellow submersible to Pepperland. Among the group's encounters are the music-hating Blue Meanies.

Yellow Submarine is in development and stars Cary Elwes, Peter Serafinowicz, Adam Campbell, Dean Lennox Kelly. The film is directed by Robert Zemeckis.
