Predator
The director made the announcement at his Troublemaker Studios, where Texas politicians signed a reform bill to the state's film incentive program. Here's what the director said at the press conference.
"I'm going to be able to shoot my upcoming Machete here, a sci-fi action film called Nervewrackers, a re-boot of the Predator series called Predators, and a couple of smaller movies called Sin City 2 and The Jetsons."
The site also confirmed that Rodriguez was indeed directing and producing the Predators remake, and it will be his own take on the original concept.

Predator was released June 12th, 1987 and stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers, Elpidia Carrillo, Bill Duke, Jesse Ventura, Sonny Landham, Richard Chaves, R.G. Armstrong. The film is directed by John McTiernan.
Predators was released July 9th, 2010 and stars Adrien Brody, Topher Grace, Alice Braga, Walton Goggins, Oleg Taktarov, Laurence Fishburne, Danny Trejo, Louis Ozawa Changchien. The film is directed by Nimród Antal.

Actually, I have seen many of Rodreguez's movies. He's really a hit-and-miss director to me. What I meant by my statement was reference to everyone else opinions of him up until my comment. All I'm saying is, the Predator movies are one of my favorite franchises in the world. So I will give him a chance... and that's a chance that he'd better not f*** up.

No man predator 2 is a masterpiece compared to that horsesh*t of a movie AVP 2! Those are the movies that are ruining both frachises names.I turned that sh*t off after 20 minutes it was so bad! I think they should just find a really talented director (other than rodriguez) and make a third movie rather than reboot the first.

i don't think rodriguez is that great.
he's always been hit or miss in my opinion.
his movies are always super damn cheesy and hard to take seriously, and this includes 'sin city' in my opinion.
here's to hoping he can manage to not ruin one of the greatest sci-fi monster movies of all time.

I want Predator 3 or that,so called Predators to be third movie of the series. Don't wnat any reboot becouse.....there is just no need to be stupid! ....about AVP ...I had a great script about my version of AVP 2 so I made the comic. Everybody that read my comic (friends and some other people) said that that story is THE SH*T! I want movie adaptation!!!
