Robert Rodriquez plans Fire and Ice
"That's in the works to go right into after Sin City, Frank Frazetta's Fire and Ice. We're almost done with the script; we've got it pretty much 70 percent there. I'm really excited about that one. For Frazetta fans, this will be the ultimate tribute to what he did, and inspired so many people. I think it's going to be pretty powerful when people see it."
The original, animated Fire and Ice, directed by Ralph Bakshi, was set in the stronghold at Icepeak. The evil Queen Juliana and her son, Nekron, send forth a wave of glaciers, forcing humanity to retreat south towards the equator.
The director is also working on Machete Kills, where the U.S. government recruits Machete (Danny Trejo) to battle his way through Mexico to take down an arms dealer.
Fire and Ice is in development .

@thedude-abides I'd definitely be down for another grindhouse venture. We might disagree on a number of things, but not when it comes to Tarantino. Not at all.

I'd much rather see Tarantino's reboot of Faster, P*ssycat! Kill! Kill!
Maybe the two can do another Grindhouse double feature with their respective exploitation reboots.

Not sure about Robert. Hopefully he won't make it overly-retarded.
