Sin City 2 getting closer to production
"Sin City 2 is going good, we're just finishing the script for that, we already got the money. We have everything we need so we can just start shooting as soon as we get the pages. And it's the same thing for Machete 2. We've already got the budget, just waiting for the script. As soon as we're finished writing we get to start the shoot."
The films cast has not yet been released, but rumors are circulating that Mickey Rourke and Jessica Alba will take on there previous roles as Marv and Nancy.
No production date has been set.
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For comes to theaters October 4th, 2013.

@jimthar i understand that lol i just mean that rodriguez probably has other things he wants to do even if its a sh*tty movie and not SC2 he's going to live his life and make the movies he wants to make i mean he's obviously more succesful than anyone of us here on movieweb/face-off/aliens-vs-predator-requiem/hannah-montana-the-moviethis site even if its a kiddie movie its succesful for that target audience directors like any movie star are going to be more involved in movies that may have something about the movie or characters that is personal to them

and in the meantime we get the horrid SPY KIDS 4, yeah rob, i'll believe it when i see it. I could have made SC2 by now, and i was unemployed for a year and a half. though i am excited to see it, i'm not gonna hold my breath until i see something solid.
