Robert Redford joins the voice cast of Charlotte's Web

According to Variety, Robert Redford has joined the voice cast for Kerner Entertainment's Charlotte's Web, the live-action/CGI co-production for Paramount, Walden Media and Nick Movies.

Redford will voice Ike, the arachnophobic horse who panics and faints at the mere sight of Charlotte.

The feature, adapted by Susannah Grant and Karey Kirkpatrick from E.B. White's story and directed by Gary Winick, is currently in production in Melbourne. Dakota Fanning stars.

Julia Roberts, Oprah Winfrey, John Cleese, Steve Buscemi, Cedric the Entertainer, Reba McEntire, Kathy Bates, Thomas Haden Church and Andre Benjamin also provide voices.

Charlotte's Web was released December 15th, 2006 and stars Julia Roberts, Steve Buscemi, John Cleese, Oprah Winfrey, Cedric the Entertainer, Kathy Bates, Reba McEntire, Robert Redford. The film is directed by Gary Winick.
