Robert Pattinson joins Naomi Watts in Queen of the Desert
Naomi Watts is attached to star as British writer Gertrude Bell in this biopic. The story chronicles her entire life from being one of the first women to graduate from Oxford, to her adventures as a writer, explorer, cartographer, archaeologist, and political attache.
Robert Pattinson will portray T.E. Lawrence, the British officer whose story served as the basis for director David Lean's 1962 classic Lawrence of Arabia. Lawrence and Bell were longtime friends, who both helped establish the Hashemite dynasties in Jordan and Iraq.
Werner Herzog is directing from his own screenplay, with Cassian Elwes and Nick N. Raslan producing. Shooting is scheduled to begin in late fall.
Queen of the Desert comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Naomi Watts, Robert Pattinson, Jude Law. The film is directed by Werner Herzog.

Not sure about seeing:: "Cosmopolis" . Looks "OK"!. Not a big fan of David Cronenberg anymore. ...and I sure the hell wouldn't pay to see the film just to see Robert Pattinson in the film.!

@mcleve02 He was not bad in Water for Elepehants either. I have not seen Cosmopolis but it is high on my list.
Most of his performances have been forgetable at best though.

@skywise If he can do what Kristen can't, escape the Twilight way of acting, I can see him doing well. That is a good point. I didn't hate him when he appeared in Harry Potter... it was after Twilight I began to lose faith in him

@mcleve02 I am on the fence with Pattinson because I have seen him in good movies and bad. I dont really blame him for anything related to Twilight. Hell I dont really blame the directors. The source material was awful and the problems inherent in the novel wormed their way into the films.
