Robert Evans Believes in UFO

According to Variety, producer Robert Evans and ITV Global are teaming up to make a film based on the 1970s British TV series UFO.

Ryan Gaudet and Joseph Kanarek will be writing the script.

The show came out in 1970 and had a three year run. The characters were created by Gerry Anderson. The show took place in 1980 and took place at Shado (Supreme Headquarters Alien Defense Organization), an underground military group that thwarts an alien race that's been kidnapping and killing humans for many decades, then using the body parts.

The film will be set in the year 2020.

    Gerry & Sylvia Anderson of "Thunderbirds" & "Space: 1999" and Oh yes UFO, was one of my best show I even brought the both sets UFO DVD's. I really hope that you do well with this movie. The just as battlestar galactica with all the new CGI you can use now. I like the new visons of ideas you have,UFO was one of my favorite shows. Good Luck

    SPACE 1999 was hilarious. I still remmeber as a kid watching it. the monsters were always huge carpet clad creatures, something out of the muppet show. haha.
    This movie should be decent. Using classic material.

    Gerry & Sylvia Anderson of "Thunderbirds" & "Space: 1999" fame. I vaguely remember this show, mostly for the cool rockets, planes and other crazy vehicles. Let's hope the don't screw this up like they did that horrific 2004 "Thunderbirds" movie.
