Yesterday, we reported that Michael Douglas is in talks to star in the CBS Films comedy Last Vegas. Today we have word that screen icon Robert De Niro is also in talks to join the cast.

The story centers on an aging womanizer (Michael Douglas) who gathers his lifelong friends in Las Vegas for his wedding, where he is marrying a woman half his age. Robert De Niro is in talks to play his elderly rival, who falls for the same woman.
Our report from yesterday also noted that Christopher Walken was in negotiations to join the cast, although he may have scheduling conflicts. Insiders claim that CBS Films is still trying to hammer out a deal with Christopher Walken, although the studio wants to finalize Robert De Niro's agreement first.
Jon Turteltaub is directing from a screenplay by Dan Fogelman. The studio is eyeing a fall production start in Las Vegas.
Last Vegas comes to theaters November 1st, 2013 and stars Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, Mary Steenburgen, Michael Douglas, Kevin Kline, Dan Owens, Jerry Ferrara, Romany Malco. The film is directed by Jon Turteltaub.
