Robert de Niro and Yvonne Strahovski join the cast of Killer Elite
They join previously cast Dominic Purcell, Jason Statham and Clive Owen.
Based on Ranulph Fiennes novel "The Family Men," the story follows a group of former British special forces members who are being hunted by assassins, lead by Statham's character.
Production on The Killer Elite is currently underway in Melbourne.
Killer Elite was released September 23rd, 2011 and stars Jason Statham, Clive Owen, Robert De Niro, Dominic Purcell, Aden Young, Yvonne Strahovski, Ben Mendelsohn, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje. The film is directed by Gary McKendry.

I'm so glad Yvonne Strahovski is branching out into big-budget American films. She is a supremely talented actress (not to mention incredibly gorgeous) and deserves to earn more mainstream success and recognition.

For a moment I thought this was a remake of the Sam Peckinpah film of the same name but its based on a different book Im glad its not.
