Rob Zombie Reveals Final Halloween 2 Poster in All Its Horrific Glory!

Rob Zombie, utilizing his myspace page to great affect, has unveiled the final theatrical poster for his upcoming sequel H2: Halloween 2, and it's a scary one. What exactly is going on with that tuft of hair in Michael Myers' greasy hand? And whom is he slaughtering in the tall grass? These questions will be answered in August, when the film hits theaters nation wide. To get your first look at the new one-sheet, check out the image below:

H2: Halloween 2 is set to kill again on August 28th, 2009.

Halloween II was released August 28th, 2009 and stars Sheri Moon Zombie, Chase Wright Vanek, Scout Taylor-Compton, Brad Dourif, Caroline Williams, Malcolm McDowell, Tyler Mane, Dayton Callie. The film is directed by Rob Zombie.

    for everyone who trys to compare rob zombies version and john carpenters version is stupid. you people need to realize that it is rob zombie's version and not john carpenter. so whoever thinks that michael myers should be the shape is dumb because rob made him human. watch the movie for what it is not for what the previous ones were.

    Dude they were sex driven in the original and in the new one Laurie Strode was reserved like she was in the original, maybe not as much but still reserved. Plus it's set in a different time frame, speech is going to be different. I know a bunch of girls their age that have a worst mouth than Newkill 200.

    The tagline "Family Is Forever" probably relates to the fact that Laurie rejected him at the end of the previous film when she was the only one of his family members he actually liked, barely even his mother. So now that Laurie's rejected him, he's out for revenge.

    And I seriously hope Annie gets axed in this film. Nancy Loomis' portrayal of her was by far the most enjoyable victim of any horror film. Danielle Harris sucks at it. Just like Lynda, they're just 2 bitches who say "F*ck, Slut, Whor*," for every other sentence, and they were sex crazed. THOSE are characteristics of Jason Voorhees' victims, not the Shape's, who i must say hasn't been "The Shape" since the first 2 Halloweens. Between the two, Michael Myers and the Shape, there's a clear difference in the performances. The Shape all the way! But I doubt RZ will bring that aspect to the film.

    For some reason, every Halloween movie since I can remember has been released in August. I remember going to see H2O with my dad and thinking it was odd watching it in August. If these would be released in October, at least people would be in the mood and the atmosphere of the movie would fit. And I will say for the record that I don't understand why Hollywood is remaking so many damn fine films. Why? I guess they're out of ideas, but damn, don't disrespect the originals by trying to make them "better" or "updated" in a new context.

    Considering this movie will make money in Week one only and then fade away..........Why not just release this on Halloween ? All the kids and everyone would line up to see it and it would be #1 for that release date alone. I don't get releasing it in August, just like the first one. Too much competition.
