Rob Schneider has climbed on board the romantic comedy You May Not Kiss the Bride.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rob Hedden (The Condemned) is currently in Hawaii directing from his own script, originally titled Wedlocked, about an American pet photographer who gets mixed up with Croatian mobsters while on a honeymoon with a gangster's daughter.

Dave Annable, Vinnie Jones, Katharine McPhee, Mena Suvari, Tia Carrere and Ken Davitian were previously cast. Schneider will play Ernesto, a daredevil helicopter pilot in Tahiti.

Production is currently underway in Hawaii.

You May Not Kiss the Bride was released in 2011 and stars Dave Annable, Katharine McPhee, Rob Schneider, Mena Suvari, Kathy Bates, Ken Davitian, Tia Carrere, Kevin Dunn. The film is directed by Rob Hedden.
