Here's some more casting news for you. According to Variety, Tom Hank's significant other, Rita Wilson, has just joined the cast of Old Dogs.

She will be appearing alongside John Travolta and Robin Williams in the comedy. Old Dogs revolves around two longtime friends who also happen to be business partners. Their lives are turned upside down when they suddenly find themselves being place in the care of seven-year-old twins. The film is scheduled for release in 2009.

In other news, Marta McGonagle has just signed onto the film Short Cut to Hollywood. Marcus Mittermeier and Jan Henrik Stahlberg are co-directing the comedy, which has been described as a wacky road trip adventure.

Short Cut to Hollywood does not have a set start date at this time.

Old Dogs was released November 25th, 2009 and stars John Travolta, Robin Williams, Kelly Preston, Conner Rayburn, Ella Bleu Travolta, Lori Loughlin, Seth Green, Bernie Mac. The film is directed by Walt Becker.
