Sleeper
Sleeper centers on an operative whose fusion with an alien artifact makes him impervious to pain and allows him to pass it on to others through skin contact. He is placed undercover in a villainous organization by an intelligence agency and falls for a member of the group named Miss Misery. While DiCaprio replaces the previously attached Tom Cruise, Sam Raimi is still attached to the project as a producer.
At this time, the film does not have a concrete start date.
Sleeper was released in 2009.

This information is incorrect!!! According to about 10 dozen other sources who made the same error, Ridley Scott and Leonardo DiCaprio will be re-teaming for Low Dweller, not Sleeper! Both movies will be written by Brad Ingelsby but apparently the article was a disaster and information got mixed around. There is always the possibility that they may decide to re-team for a third time, but at the moment I believe this is a mistake.

Now that makes more sense. I've never read the comic, but all I knew was that I didn't wanna see Tom Cruise involved with aliens in another movie. His Psychotology beliefs would make it a bit strange to watch. I personally think DiCaprio's a better actor than Cruise and he looks more like the operative anyway.

Look I've got nothing against Ridley Scott, he did afterall deliver one of my favorite movies, Alien. But lately it seems he just does anything and casts either Crowe or DiCaprio. Everytime a movie comes out with Crowe attached, Scott is involved somehow. And just about ALL of the films they do together are overrated and not too great at the box office either (with the exception of Galdiator and maybe American Gangster although it still did not perform to expectations, Bee Movie beat it out). So I am just throwing my opinion out there. I think Crowe is a bitch boy to Scott anymore.
