Rider Strong is reprising his role of Paul in the horror/thriller sequel, Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever for Tonic Films.

Giuseppe Andrews also returns as the oddball Deputy Winston, who dumped the ill Paul in a stream at the end of the 2003 original. The Hollywood Reporter adds in the sequel, the killer virus comes out of the woods and has a date at the high school prom. Comedian Judah Friedlander plays the Down Home Water security guard, Mark Borchardt portrays Winston's cousin from Wombusaw, and fellow cult actor-director Larry Fessenden plays an ill-fated water truck driver. Noah Segan, Alexi Wasser, Marc Senter, and Rusty Kelley play new potential victims.

Ti West is directing; shooting on Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever is under way in North Carolina.
