Ricky Gervais to Voice New HBO Animated Comedy

Ricky Gervais will lend his voice to the 13-episode animated comedy series The Ricky Gervais Show, set up at HBO.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show will be based on his wildly popular podcasts.

Voices will include Gervais, longtime collaborator Stephen Merchant and their friend Karl Pilkington. Pilkington's musings often inspire the series' offbeat storylines.

The new show will debut Feb. 19.
