Nuke The Fridge reports that Richard Dreyfuss will make a cameo in Piranha 3D.

It looks like this role will be a tip of the hat to the character that Dreyfuss played in Jaws. All that's known is that his character will take down Amity brand beer (Amity is where Jaws was set).

There is even a school of thought that the actor's character might be the first to die in this new film.

In addition to this, according to The New York Post, Ving Rhames is going to be in this film as well. Nothing is known about the role he will play.

Elisabeth Shue will be starring in this film that is being directed by Alexandre Aja. It starts shooting this month.

Piranha 3D was released August 20th, 2010 and stars Richard Dreyfuss, Ving Rhames, Elisabeth Shue, Christopher Lloyd, Eli Roth, Jerry O'Connell, Steven R. McQueen, Jessica Szohr. The film is directed by Alexandre Aja.
