Rich Franklin Has Just Been Registered as a Lethal Weapon!

Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight champ Rich Franklin has just signed a deal with Peach Arch Entertainment to star in his first feature film. According to Variety, the brawler will headline the action thriller Weapon.

The film revolves around U.S. border patrol agent that apprehends a genetically engineered super soldier. They both find themselves in trouble when the Weapon's creator comes hunting for them. Bruce Greenwood and Tiffani Thiessen have also joined the cast.

Shooting is currently underway in Hamilton, Ontario.

    I've seen this, I think it was called "Unleashed"? But it's not like that's a well known film at all. No, it's not like it had Jet Li, Morgan Freeman and Bob Hoskins. I'm sure everyone's forgotten about it by now...
