Umm.. is it just me or is this just a tribute to the actress Milla Jovovich? Where's the &#$%* dark corners, scary creepy monters, the grit and grunge?! I played every Resident Evil and I don't ever recall the whole thing being centered around a girl that looks like they pulled her right out of Underworld and battled CGI monsters in a brightly lit office building or whatever this is. BRING BACK the real Raccoon City and please... PLEASE.. make the star of the movie one of the Redfields!! No offense to this director but did he even play any of these **%&$# games??!

@gandoff2169 I completely agree. AS a big supporter of Resident Evil back in the day, I must sya I really don't like the way they are doing the movie franchise. The first one was the best as it was the closest to the actual game.

seriouly though i read an article and they were saying that pretty much everyone has a clone. I am tired of the clone storyline...hell i am tired of this franchise. i have come to hate Alice and believe me I love a bad ass woman as much as the next guy but this is just rediculous.

@gandoff2169 the only thing about this movie that sounds interesting is that they filmed on location more than any other RE film and that MIGHT give it that epic quality that has been lacking in the previous. And your right, Walking Dead has the best zombies i have seen hands down and I am a zombie fanatic. But you muctknow deep down that it isnt going to happen.

@skywise I agree. If it is a good clone bad clone story, then it will be silly for a over all story. Hard for me not to like the idea of a Zombie movie. But Walking Dead has put to shame most of what RE movies have been. Yes, RE Zombies have more to them, cause they have different kinds due to how it was made and mutates. But if they look at Walking Dead, and use their approach to the zombies, then RE could be, saved in a way.

these movies are garbage IMO but i think its cool they are bringing back some of the old characters. Supposedly this one is more epic but i have no faith in Anderson. In fact he is one of my least fav directors. However, because i am a die hard Res Evil game fanatic i will pprobably see it,,,,and mos tlikely be disapointed as i have been with all the other films.

How can Rodriguez be brought back, when she died in the first one? Not a fan of how the movies have been done. They are entertaining, but they have little connection to the games, beyond character names, and basic location used in one and two.
