I'm confused this this franchise. How am I supposed to believe that the human race is close to extinction because of the virus If i keep seeing soldiers, and helicopters and sh*t in all the movies!

PLEASE MOVIE GODS reboot this franchise and please stay true to the games! The last one was nothing more than 3-D gun porn lol which is ok but just not for this series of movies.

I love how everyone hates this series. It means that it's like my own special love. Haha. Anyway, I love the series, and yes, I love them at the same time that I love the games, too. Sure it took a different direction, doesn't make it bad. This one is shaping up to be pretty beast, too! Can't wait for a theatrical trailer! :D

Yes Alice needs to die a horrible death. Her current husband in real life has brought her down to his level. Both have lost their edge Mila used to be a better actor until Paul came around.

I love these movies alot, I got 1, 3 and 4, but to me, the thing is with these movies, is the 4th one didn't make sense to me as far as the setting of where the film took place, like in the 3rd, Alice was saying how the earth began to wither and die and it showed how the earth looked before the outbreak then started to turn all land and dirt when the virus took over completely and everywhere that Alice traveled to before she caught up with everyone else was nothing but towns and cities that looked like an extremely huge desert. Even Las Vegas was like that, but in the 4th one, it didn't have none of that. Everything was exactly how it looked in the first 2 movies. But I loved the 4th one though, it was good.

    @junior Roberts
Resident Evil 4 (afterlife) makes part 3 look like a direct to dvd. no joke, lol
There was nothing "afterlife" about RE4, it looked like it was all done in a month, rather than a year or so like most movies are filmed,
wasnt good, wasnt bad, it was 50/50.
If i was to rate all of them this is how my score would be..

    Resident Evil 4/5
    Resident Evil: Apocalypse 3/5
    Resident Evil: Extinction 1/5
    Resident Evil: Afterlife 3/5

@jasonkat I agree 200%. They lost the relativity to the video game a LONG time ago. And overall, just lost the essence of a good, scary movie and focus too much on the action rather than a good story. I haven't seen the last one that came out (3D) but I heard I didn't miss much. MY favorite will always remain the first one.

I dont mean or wanna sound like im dissin these films, i love them, i own all 4 and will own this1 as well. they are great to watch at the movies, big popcorn fun and all. But when it all comes down to it. neither1 of them is considered a "TRUE" resident evil game-based movie It would have been better off called "the walking dead", zombie land, "alice" lol, but not resident evil.
These are played out more of an action thing than a horror type. And what makes it so funny is that, every1 of them is rated R, and at times they feel like they are pg13, because half the chit i see in these films is like damn, even a 10yo could see this,

i hate to admit it but as a RE fan, Im getting kinda tired of these already. They dont scare me like the ps2 games did. and still do.
This whole series have lost its touch, and sparks. It lost steam after part2 ended. Instead of them getting good, or better, they feel recycled.
Like that saying "been there, seen that" thats how i feel about these.
Alice needs to die, real game characters need to step in. The story needs a better direction. the zombies...well they need to look scaryerrr, dont hold back, they are dead, they need to chase you, eat blood, suck. kill you, the whole "shoot em in the head" is getting old.
"Dawn of the Dead" was 100x scaryer than all of these combind
I cant wait for a reboot, i just cant. This1 should be the last1 and then let a real director/writer step up. Someone who knows how to "bring" this kinda stuff.
