This is the kind of series that as a gamer I'm severely disappointed in, but as a viewer, I'm entertained. The first RE film was the most fun, the second sucked MAJOR ass, and the third was once again: fun. I'm looking forward to this next installment since my gaming emotions are completely separated. But God help me of they f*ck-up Wesker's character... Now that he's going to be a major player, they better keep him as cool as he became in RE: Code Veronica (and Veronica X). Though his final form was really lame in RE: 5. And sorry, Newkill, but I thought RE: Degeneration was just laughable. It wasn't bad, but it was like watching a CG movie structured in "Generic Anime Writing, Stereotypes, and Cliches 101".

Bummer, but I agree with CBF. As long as the film is good, I think I can wait a few more months.

After watching Extinction, i don't have faith in this installment at all. Get rid of the Alice character please. She's done with. I love Jovovich but her character isn't relevant anymore. Btw, Resident Evil Degeneration is the best Resident Evil movie ever.

Meh. This film is gonna be the best one of the whole series, that's all I know! RE Extinction was good, actually, my favorite one was the first, but as far as the storylines are going, Afterlife is set to be the best one. I can't wait to see how Alice f**ks up the Umbrella employees for all that they have done to her and also her friends, like turning Matt into The Nemesis, and all their crimes against humanity, spreading the T-virus. Also what is up with her "powers" from Extinction? I never pieced that puzzle together very well. Just because they injected her with the virus now she has telekinetic powers? pfft. I thought her blood suppressed the virus, so that's why the White Queen told her that she could manufacture a cure. The powers don't make sense to me. Anyways, we also will finally see Claire's bro and a few other surprise characters, so August, January, it doesn't matter to me, just do a good job and don't rush it like the second film and I'll be happy. Also due to the fact that Paul W.S> Anderson is directing the franchise again. That right there tells me it'll be more in the style of the first film.

Awwwwwwwwww...what a shame......whatever will I watch in the meantime?...I mean, it's not like there's other movies more worth going to see between now and the latest RE flick...

I might have gone a little overboard with the sarcasm. I probably could have just said "Don't f*cking care" but there's really no substance in that, is there?

OMG I can't believe they are doing that! I'm so heartbroken I don't know what I'm going to do now.

    False.

I could care less about this movie.
