Renee Zellweger has joined the cast of Jonas Elmer's fish-out-of-water comedy Chilled in Miami. According to Variety, Harry Connick Jr. is also gearing up to appear in the film.

Ken Rance and C. Jay Cox's script revolves around a Miami businesswoman who is shipped off to the sticks of Minnesota. Darryl Taja, Peter Safran, Tracey Edmonds and Paul Brooks will produce Chilled in Miami for Gold Circle Films.

The film does not have a set start date at this time. It will most likely go into production during the first quarter of 2008.
