Dan Epstein
The online film community has lost one of its greatest writers. Dan Epstein passed away last night in New York City at the age of 31. Dan was primarily a writer for Suicide Girls, but also did a lot of work for UGO, Film Stew, and Newsarama. He had a no nonsense, take no prisoners attitude that got him the interviews everybody else dreamed of. Dan could pick up the phone and talk to Alan Moore in an instant. If you've been to Comic Con, chances are you know or have met Dan. He was that rare breed of web writer that commanded the respect of the talent, the studios, and his peers. We who knew him and loved him are heartbroken. Dan leaves behind his wife Andrea. They were newlyweds, just embarking on their life together. Please remember her in your prayers as well.
Happy Trails Dan, I will miss you forever.
Julian
