Reese Witherspoon boards The Beard
Plot details are being held under wraps, but we do know that newcomer Rebecca Greene will be delivering the script. The term "The Beard" refers to a member of the opposite sex, who plays the role of a homosexual person's heterosexual lover, in order to conceal their sexuality.
The actress is producing with Peter Chernin. Reese Witherspoon is currently shooting Devil's Knot, a film that centers Atom Egoyan's view of the West Memphis Three murder case. She is also involved with Jeff Nichols' indie drama Mud with Matthew McConaughey.
No production details have been released for this project.

i don't really like witherspoon at all, i wasn't even that fond of walk the line and i am an avid fan of johnny cash, i didn't like it because i didn't think they showed how bad ass cash was. she was decent in that film if that. seriously i couldn't see fighting over this girl i.e this means war.
