Mondo is releasing a new series of posters based on their favorite 2012 Academy Award nominated films. They plan to release four limited edition prints from four different categories, unveiling the first two (and a variant) from the Best Picture and Best Animated Film categories today. Check out these images below, which include a print for Rango and two for Hugo. All poster prints will go on sale during the airing of the upcoming 84th Annual Academy Awards telecast on February 26th.





Rango was released March 4th, 2011 and stars Johnny Depp, Isla Fisher, Abigail Breslin, Ned Beatty, Alfred Molina, Bill Nighy, Stephen Root, Harry Dean Stanton. The film is directed by Gore Verbinski.

Hugo was released November 23rd, 2011 and stars Ben Kingsley, Sacha Baron Cohen, Asa Butterfield, Chloe Moretz, Ray Winstone, Emily Mortimer, Christopher Lee, Helen McCrory. The film is directed by Martin Scorsese.

The Academy Awards episode 84.1, "84th Annual Academy Awards" stars Angelina Jolie, Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep, Bradley Cooper, Will Ferrell, Ben Stiller, Zach Galifianakis.
