Ramon Rodriguez Joins Taking of Pelham 123

Ramon Rodriguez has joined the cast of The Taking of Pelham 123, directed by Tony Scott.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the thriller stars Denzel Washington and John Travolta. Rodriguez plays a friend of Washington and a fellow MTA train dispatcher who is caught in the middle of a subway hijacking.

No production date has been set.

The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 was released June 12th, 2009 and stars Denzel Washington, John Travolta, Luis Guzmán, Victor Gojcaj, John Turturro, Michael Rispoli, Ramon Rodriguez, James Gandolfini. The film is directed by Tony Scott.

    What I TRYING to say is I think Travolta will do OK in this role as it's pretty two-dimentional... Plus I saw footage of the filming on YouTube from bystanders who took video.. What I weird about is Gandolfini as the Mayor.. The Mayor was a pretty small role and to give it to this one-trick pony.. will no doubt make them want to expand the role and that will take away from the movie and the story which is awesome as it is!

    i have little or no faith in travolta, but every once in a while he pulls a good performance out of his ass.

    hopefully tony scott can manipulate travolta into not sucking.
