Radha Mitchell Battles The Crazies

Radha Mitchell is set to star opposite Timothy Olyphant in The Crazies, the reinvention of the 1973 George Romero film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mitchell will play Olyphant's wife as they battle a toxin that has infected their town's water supply.

Breck Eisner will direct from a screenplay by Ray Wright, working from an earlier draft by Scott Kosar.

No production date has been set.

The Crazies was released February 26th, 2010 and stars Timothy Olyphant, Radha Mitchell, Joe Anderson, Danielle Panabaker, Christie Lynn Smith, Brett Rickaby, Preston Bailey, John Aylward. The film is directed by Breck Eisner.

    She did an ok job in Pitch Black and Man on Fire. With her and Timothy Olyphant, should be good. I'll definitely go check it out.

    hey vamp you should watch the original "the crazies", it was pretty entertaining if you're capable of enjoying that weird 70's underground movie feel.

    i know that a lot of you kids don't like anything that wasnt produced by hollywood and has that pop-culture sh*tstain across its face.

    Yeah, she did excellent in that movie, Shelley. One of my favorites. However, after the original "Night of the Living Dead" and "Dawn of the Dead," which were great films, everything AFTER them, weren't. I don't know if I have faith in a Romero story, or not. lolz!
