A new story indicates the Oscar winner could play the head of Quantum in the new film
In fact, they're considering Weisz to play the head of Quantum, the secret organization responsible for all the bad guy activity in the last two films. More than just another Bond babe, she'd be the mastermind pulling the strings behind everything that's happened in Daniel Craig's Bond movies so far, and the architect of James Bond's suffering.
We'll be sure to keep you posted on this breaking story as soon as we have more information. Sam Mendes will be directing James Bond 23 from a script by Peter Morgan, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. A production start date or release date has not been announced at this time.
Skyfall comes to theaters November 9th, 2012 and stars Ralph Fiennes, Daniel Craig, Helen McCrory, Javier Bardem, Tonia Sotiropoulou, Bérénice Marlohe, Judi Dench, Naomie Harris. The film is directed by Sam Mendes.

She won't be the first sexy female villain in the Bond pantheon. Famke Jansen from Goldeneye, and Luciana Paluzzi from Thunderball came first. It would be an interesting twist to have the leader of Quantum be a woman, but I don't know if she could pull off evil. Everything I've seen her in has cast her as a good person.

I truly like Rachel, she's hot, she's an awesome actress and this is a good choice for her. Though I really wish she'll come back to the Mummy franchise, just have her in the beginning of the film and or after.
