The eighties one is the one I want to see the most. LOLZ! I don't read comics at all, really, so I don't know the origins or anything, but I really enjoyed "The Punisher." I think I gave it a four and a half.... I don't remember though. LOLZ!

by first one, u mean the one with Tom Jane, not the one from the eighties right? cuz i thought the eighties one was supposed to be terribel. but yeah i liked the Tom Jane one more than this one and didn't get y they didn't just make a sequal.

and sorry i can't share in ur pain bout this character kyle, i don't have as much experience with him and don't know his whole mythology that well, so i don't notice when it strays away from the comics that much. that is prolly one reason i didn't mind it as much.

I enjoyed the first one a lot actually but as a Punisher movie it's not very faithful to the comics. as a stand alone film it is very good and remains my favourite of all 3

Why make it campy and over the top though i don't get why they'd piss away their third chance at a Punisher film. Trust me i read the comics i enjoyed the MAX line but The Punisher is supposed to be gritty and mean. I expected a really hardcore heavy hitting film with less over the top characters. Compared to most superheroes The Punisher is within the realms of reality being a pissed off vigilante who ruthlessly murders street sc*m. In this movie they had Ray look like The Punisher but i'd hardly call what he did "acting" i'd call it stunt work. Jigsaw seemed like a rip off of Two Face from Batman Forever with the way he performed his gleeful murderer. As a Punisher fan let's just say i was massively disappointed after seeing this in theatres. No plot, laughable dialogue, cheesy gore, phony action, wooden acting, and the worst Jersey and New York accents in film history. Plus way to fail at making Montreal look like NYC not even close. Here's hoping they make a good Punisher movie someday.

studios can't seem to figure out how to make a punisher movie that appeals to a bigger audience, this was a good movie, its just u have to enjoy this type of movie in order to be in on it, u know? it was campy and gorey and made a joke of it, alot of ppl just don't get that so it failed once again. still definitely worth buying, at least for me.

Good lord this movie was an abortion! Seriously just rent a Steven Seagal film and you'll get the same lame unrealistic action, phony gore, and plotless story...oh you'll also get the same wooden acting and bad accents too. It's not hard to make a Punisher movie yet they've failed three times.

This Movie was actually really entertaining. I'm not a punisher fan myself, but I felt it was more faithful to the books than the Thomas Jane film. I really like Thomas Jane, but i felt that this movie was just more punisher like. And I know a few hardcore fans of the comics that agree with me.
