ABC has decided not to even start production on the new fall sit-com, Mr. Nice Guy.

The network has decided to hold the Dedrich Bader (The Drew Carey Show) show even though a table read had already taken place, reports Variety.

Mr. Nice Guy, which also had Rena Sofer and Kevin Weisman attached to star, was written by Jeff Astrof (Friends), and was about a good guy who always ends up looking bad even when trying to do the right thing.

Mr. Nice Guy could possibly re-appear as a possible mid-season replacement next year.
