Prison Break Writers Reteam for Break Out Kings

Prison Break writers Matt Olmstead and Nick Santora have returned to Fox with a new drama project Break Out Kings, which revolves around ex-fugitives who are recruited to work as U.S. marshals.

According to Variety, the network has given the 20th Century Fox TV project a script order with a hefty penalty attached if it doesn't go to pilot. Olmstead and Santora penned the pilot. Gavin Hood, helmer of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, is attached to direct and exec produce.

The project is described as a procedural based in Gotham, but the team will move around the country as it works on specific cases.

    Maybe it is impossible but i hope that this will be follow-up of the Prison Break. And I hope they will band together same PB cast. It will be good because PB was very good.

    prison break was awesome, it finished at the right time, i bet this will be great too, lost is coming to an end so we need something new to watch after that, this'll probably be it

    I hated Prison Break. These guys sound like "one trick ponies" to me, trying to repackage the same show in different wrapping. And really, ex-fugitives recruted to be U.S. Marshals. These writers really like to stretch reality to the breaking point. Don't these recruters have applications that were submitted by honorable men?! I mean, come on. This is so damn stupid and lame. Recruters: "Well, we know you chose a life of crime, but hey... here's a gun. Now we're going to put our trust in you to uphold the law. We know we can count on you to do the right thing and turn yourself around".

    And they took off The Sarah Conner Chronicles for show like this!! FAIL!!! PLEASE!!!!
