Premonition Sees July 17 DVD Release
Sandra Bullock stars in the eerie, time-bending, emotionally-charged film, Premonition, available on DVD and Blu-ray Disc July 17, 2007 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. In this supernatural thriller full of twists and turns, Bullock must unravel the mystery of her premonition, and race against time to try and save her husband's life. Premonition will be available for the SRP of $28.95 (DVD, both widescreen and full-screen formats) and $38.96 (Blu-ray Disc).
The DVD and Blu-ray Disc will be loaded with bonus materials including deleted scenes, including an alternate ending with optional director's commentary; a look at the making of the movie with interviews from the cast & crew; a look at the major events of the movie put in 'normal' order and narrated by director Mennan Yapo; a documentary about real life people who have had premonitions into the future; a blooper reel; and an audio commentary with director Mennan Yapo and Sandra Bullock.
Gripping and suspenseful, Premonition, which garnered Bullock her highest-grossing opening weekend ever, also stars Julian McMahon (Fantastic Four), Nia Long (Big Momma's House) and Peter Stormare (Fargo).
Synopsis:
Linda Hanson (Sandra Bullock) has a beautiful house, a loving husband, and two adorable daughters. Her life is perfect, until the day she receives the devastating news that her husband Jim (Julian McMahon) has died in a car accident. When she wakes up the next morning to find him alive and well, she assumes it was all a dream, but is shaken by how vivid it felt. She soon realizes it wasn't a dream, and her world is turned upside down as the surreal circumstances lead her to discover that her perfect life may not have been all that it appeared. Desperate to save her family, Linda begins a furious race against time and fate to try and preserve everything that she and Jim have built together.
Directed by Mennan Yapo in his directorial film debut, Premonition stars Sandra Bullock, Julian McMahon, Nia Long, and Peter Stormare. It was produced by Ashok Amritraj (Bringing Down the House). With a running time of 110 minutes, the film is rated PG-13 for some violent content, disturbing images, thematic material and brief language.
