Predators Scouting for Hawaii Shoot

Tim Ryan's Reel Hawaii is reporting that the production team behind 20th Century Fox's Predators is back to the big island of Hawaii scouting its jungles for potential filming locations for the creature sequel, directed by Nimrod Antal.

If a location gets decided, they will lens for 18 days sometime in October. Principal photography begins on September 28 at producer Robert Rodriguez's Troublemaker Studios in Austin, Texas. The film is slated to open in theaters Summer 2010.

Written by Alex Litvak and Michael Finch, Predators involves a very intense group of people stranded on a Predator planet discovering unspeakable horrors - that are not always from outside their group.

Predators was released July 9th, 2010 and stars Adrien Brody, Topher Grace, Alice Braga, Walton Goggins, Oleg Taktarov, Laurence Fishburne, Danny Trejo, Louis Ozawa Changchien. The film is directed by Nimród Antal.

Hopefully not as short as it was in Terminator: Salvation.

I would be happy if he was, or at least in a cameo would be cool.

Well, his run is almost up, and he doesn't have the popular vote anymore. I heard that he might be in it to some extent.

He's still the governor isn't he? I doubt he'd star in the whole film.

Predator is cooler, because one can stand up against a gang of aliens, like when Bruce Lee is fighting a whole gang. One against all, and the one kicks ass, is always a great thing to cheer for!

I like the first Predator and the first two Alien movies only. The rest can be flushed down the toilet. Let's hope Rodriguez has learned that we hated the AVP movies and get it back to the original Predator status.
I heard that Arnold might star in it, but I don't know how it stands now. Has anyone heard anything new about that?

AvP Requiem kicks the sh*t out of AvP 1 lol. There's really no comparison. Ironically, the first film kind of had a plot, and the 2nd really did not, but I didn't care to be honest, it payed homage to what they didn't do in the first film and I was happy that ONE Predator is infact that badass by himself like he should be. I mean who really cares about the aliens? Yeah they are cool in their own film, but up against a Predator (who is 10x cooler), of course you want the Predator to kill everything lol.

trust me spynet! This Nimrod guy is up to the task. I loved his film: Kontroll and I'm looking forward to Armored too. he always dreamed about making a bloody good horror film and now he got it, so I don't think so he's gonna be ruin it.

I hope this movie is good... It couldn't be any worse than AVP Requiem. Although, that's what I thought about the first AVP... I have no reason not to trust Rodriguez, but I don't know anything about this Nimrod guy.
