wow k-man...i still believe something is wrong with the proportions of this "predator" in particular maybe i little less helmet....and i'm sure you now that the concept of "predator" is not exclusive/trademark of this movie character...obviously k-man, i was talking about the nuances of predatory behavior and predatory agression displayed in real world animals(including humans)...

@gato - dude, what are you talking about? The proportion between the head and the body is the exact same as it has always been. If you look at the pic again you'll notice that the predator's head is c*cked at a downward angle, as if it is looking at the floor, that's why you're noticing the top of the helmet more.
And what are you talking about "real life predator"??? Sorry to break it to you man, but predators don't actually exist...
I for one am glad to see the original mask back in action! This is BY FAR the coolest of the predator masks (similar to that of the predator in the first film and the mask of the main predator in AVP 1). I'm not much of a fan of them veering off from the original Stan Winston design, like the one with horns coming out the bottom of the mask, which is why I hope the predator pictured above is the "main" predator in this movie and not this "super black predator" I've been hearing about.
It's also good to see they got the body size correct this time around! Much better than the "football player" sized predators in AVP 1.
Between this picture and the teaser trailer, I'm pretty pumped that this could *potentially* be a good film, however the one thing that still has me doubting the finished product is the "predator dogs" and "predator eagles" that we've all heard about! That is the dumbest f#cking thing I've ever heard of and by far the biggest contradiction to the predator mythology they've ever introduced!!!! Why would they want dogs and eagles hunting the humans FOR them when the whole point of them being there in the first place is to hunt the humans??? Terrible idea!!
(SIDE NOTE: You'll notice I haven't referenced AVP2 once, that's because I turned that film off after 5 minutes and now pretend that film doesn't exist! Lets hope this film is at least better than that hunk of sh*t)

way to much head!!...looks odd...a real life predator knows that he can't give away his position to the prey....and this helmet is all over the place..and not very well thought for combat maneuvers...just my humble opinion

It kinda looks the same as KPH's costume. Hopefully there'll be an awesome one-on-one duel in the climax. Or something similar, yet not exactly the same. Still skeptical about this film though.
