Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: According to The Hollywood Reporter, the boxoffice power of teen wizard Harry Potter seems to be increasing with age as the third film based on author J.K. Rowling's popular series proved the most potent.

Warner Bros. Pictures' Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban debuted in North America in 3,855 theaters and levitated an estimated $92.6 million -- the best in the "Potter" series and the third-biggest opening of all-time after Sony's "Spider-Man" ($114.8 million) and DreamWorks' "Shrek 2" ($108 million).

The domestic debut of the Alfonso Cuaron helmed "Azkaban" proved to be the biggest in June by far, surpassing Universal's "The Hulk" ($62.1 million) and the best for the third film in a franchise, topping New Line's "Austin Powers in Goldmember" ($72.6 million). Additionally, the latest Hogwarts-set adventure opened day-and-date in 49 large format Imax theaters -- breaking house records in 35 of those venues -- and generated an estimated $2 million.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was released June 4th, 2004 and stars Daniel Radcliffe, Richard Griffiths, Pam Ferris, Fiona Shaw, Harry Melling, Adrian Rawlins, Geraldine Somerville, Lee Ingleby. The film is directed by Alfonso Cuarón.
