Portia de Rossi Is Lily Munster; Charity Wakefield Revealed as Marilyn Munster Mockingbird Lane

Portia de Rossi is set to play Lily Munster in NBC's reboot of The Munsters, Mockingbird Lane. The role was originally played by Yvonne De Carlo in classic version from the 60s. Mason Cook is playing Eddie Munster with Eddie Izzard portraying Grandpa. Earlier this month we reported that Jerry O'Connell will play the role of Herman Munster.

In addition to the latest casting news, NBC has unveiled the first image from the set which features Charity Wakefield as Marilyn Munster.

The pilot was written by Bryan Fuller and is going to be directed by Bryan Singer.

    well, I knew I wasn't gonna like who they pick after they already screwed up casting Herman, but its not like they could pick anybody that could replace any of the original actors
