Planet 51 Brings the Animated Fun Home on DVD and Blu-ray on March 9th

You can enjoy one of the latest animated hits in with your whole family on DVD and Blu-ray this March. Planet 51 will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on March 9. The standard DVD will be priced at $28.96 SRP and the Blu-ray, which will be a two-disc DVD/BD combo set, will be priced at $35.99 SRP. We don't have the cover art for either edition yet, but we'll update this story as soon as we have the images. The film stars the voices of Dwayne Johnson, Jessica Biel, Justin Long, Gary Oldman, Seann William Scott and John Cleese.

When Chuck the astronaut (Dwayne Johnson) lands on a distant planet filled with little green people, he is surprised to discover that we are not alone in the galaxy. But he gets the shock of his life when the residents of Planet 51 mistakenly believe that his presence is the start of an alien invasion of the human kind! Luckily, Lem (Justin Long) quickly realizes that Chuck is friendly and makes it his personal mission to help him return safely to his ship.
